The wine guide
Simple, honest advice to enjoy every bottle — from serving to the story behind the label.
How to serve your wine
A few simple moves that let every bottle give its best.
Temperature
Serve whites and rosés chilled (8–10°C), the sparkling THALASSA colder (6–8°C), the dry OURANOS at 10–12°C, and reds lightly cool (14–16°C). Too cold hides the aromas; too warm weighs them down.
The glass
A clean, clear glass with room to swirl is all you need. Fill it to about one third — wine needs air to open up.
Opening & breathing
More complex wines, like OURANOS, gain from being opened a few minutes earlier. Fresh, fruity wines are served straight away.
How long it keeps
Well sealed and in the fridge, an opened bottle keeps for 2–3 days. THALASSA's screw cap makes resealing easy.
Pairing wine with food
No fortress rules. Just a few ideas to help you find the balance.
The rule of balance
A wine pairs when it neither overpowers the food nor is overpowered by it. Light dishes with light wines, rich dishes with fuller ones.
The semi-sweet ones (GEA, THALASSA)
They love spicy food, salty cheeses, meze and Asian cuisine. Their sweetness balances the intensity.
The dry white (OURANOS)
Brilliant with lobster, grilled fish, seafood, white meats and hard cheeses. A wine for meals that matter.
The Greek table
When the table is full of many small dishes, a gentle semi-sweet like GEA embraces them all — which is why it's the wine for company.
The story behind a label
Why a personalized bottle is more than just a wine.
A label is a message
The name of a property, an event or a person on a bottle turns a gift into a memory. That is GEA with your own label.
How yours is made
You tell us the name and the occasion, we design the label — in any language you like — and send you a preview before it prints. No surprises.
The QR that comes alive
Each personalized bottle can carry a QR that opens your own welcome page: information, wishes, directions — whatever you want to tell your guest.
For Airbnb, gifts & events
Guest houses earn better reviews, gifts become unforgettable, events gain their own signature. A small detail that says a lot.
